Bumble, the Virtual Enterprise (VE) team from Bakersfield High School (BHS) took first place in the statewide Business Plan competition at the Virtual Enterprise Trade Show and State Business Plan contest held in Bakersfield.
The Pyramid, the VE team from Centennial High School placed fourth in the competition with their business that pairs Crossfit with nutritional supplements.

Bumble from BHS is a honey product company featuring edible treats, skincare, and lifestyle products from sustainable resources and local pesticide free agriculture providers.
These business savvy BHS and CHS students will represent the State of California at the National Business Plan competition in New York City on April 4th.

More than 100 high schools from all over California took part in the two day event at the Rabobank Convention Center.

Some of the “virtual products” featured this year included clothing, technology, beauty and fitness products, and many others allowing students to develop a broad range of sales, interview, marketing, human resources, and technology skills.
